Are you always forgetful about the things that you needed to do for the day? Or, are you in a symposium or seminar and you wanted to take notes about what is discussed?

If you’re part of so many people who want to be productive with the use of apps that remind you of certain things in your life, you may need to download a mobile phone app that not only simplifies note taking, but also streamlines everything for you.

The Evernote App for Android is one such app. It is a fabulous and amazing note-taking app that allows you to take notes and put it in the cloud storage so you can access it anytime and anywhere; you just have to be connected to the internet to get access to those notes.

There is a dozen of note-taking apps on the Google Play store, but Evernote is the king of the Hill. This Android Mobile phone app allows you to write down notes, create checklists, organize web articles, word documents, photos, and so much more.

The app has innumerable uses. Are you a student who wants to have a great note-taking app that they can use to help them in their studies? Or, are you a businessman who always wants to know about their itinerary for the day.

Evernote can help people who are in need of a great note-taking app. Evernote is free to download, but there is also an annual paid subscription that we will get to later in this article.

When you first fire up Evernote, it will ask you to register to their database. You are only required to input your valid email address and a password. You will need this account because everything that you save on the Evernote app will automatically be uploaded to their database servers so you can access those notes at a later time.

Do remember that you need to have an internet connection for this to work (at least the part where you upload the files on their servers). Don’t worry, all the files that you’ve uploaded to their servers will be confidential.

The Evernote App for Android is constantly updated and is now in its version 5. There are a lot of new and exciting features in the new version, most notably how the camera app now performs when using Evernote.

When snapping a photo and uploading it to the Evernote cloud storage, you now have the option to snap a couple of photos and choosing the best ones before you upload them.

What’s more, you can also tweak the interface of the app and you now also have the option to buy Evernote stickers (though these stickers are paid ones).

As mentioned earlier, there is a premium version of this app. Although, you can do a variety of things with the free version but the premium version has a lot more to offer. Free Evernote users only have a maximum of 60MB maximum upload limit per month, but Evernote Premium users have that limit bumped up to 1GB.

Furthermore, the search algorithm for premium users are vastly improved and you have the ability to share a note via a read-only or editable feature.

The Evernote App for Android mobile phones is a great app to have especially if you want to increase your productivity. It is a free app with the option to have a premium subscription for $45/year. You can download Evernote in the Google Play Store.
